c'est la vie

Sorry it has taken so long for me to post something. I was just waiting for something good to happen. Anywho, being back in Utah has been weird but I am adjusting quickly and getting back into the swing of things. I think I told everyone but if I haven't, my new calling is "mother" of my fhe group. This past Monday was our first time meeting with "the family" and it went nothing like I had planned. It was me, one other girl(who is super sweet but I don't think has a clue about boys) and a big group of boys who have been friends since they were little. I had envisioned a nice family home evening where we share and discuss experiences and leave having felt the spirit. Growing up with boys, you think I would know better than to expect boys to share their feelings and discuss things. But for some odd reason(I think it's because I live with Chelsey and we discuss things for hours) I forgot this detail and had the wrong expectations therefore causing the whole night to be a big disappointment. But after a good talk with mama, I realized I needed to change my outlook on the whole thing and now I am pumped to try it out again! Other than that I have gone to a couple parties and on Saturday I turned in my application at Zupa's, had a five minute interview the the manager, and was hired on the spot. Life is great and living with G and C has been a huge blessing in my life. Today was a wonderful day at church and I am so grateful for my testimony! I love my life, I love my family, I love Heavenly Father, I love Jesus Christ! Basically Heavenly Father just spoils me like crazy.
I miss you all so much and I hope everything is great with you guys! Congrats to Brock & Becky and Happy Birthday to Mom! peace out.

I haven't taken pictures of anything since I have been back so here are pictures of when my home teachers took me shooting:)

  3. beth unlike the other two posters Im gonna be honest with you. Your shooting is sub par at best. Do you think the wastelands of mordor are filled with bright orange monsters that stand still just waiting patiently for you to shoot their heads off? Well, think again. Nothing but goblins, trolls, elephants ridden by weird painted men, urukai, and the dead kings of the past (not the ones out of the lion king) but the ones who where big black cloaks crazy looking helmet and ride dragons. And when all you have at your side is a midget darwf, and a prancing elf that probably shaves his legs (no offense brock), laughing won't put your bullet between the eyes of the painted man, causing him to veer the elephant he's riding to the side, trampling goblins, trolls, urukai, and maybe even catching a dragon with its tusks forcing the dead king riding him to fall to the ground, giving you (a woman) the chance to thrust your sword in the gap in his helmet killing a creature that cannot be killed by any mortal man.

But otherwise that's great to hear about the job, I'd heard you applied but never heard you got it. Hope it's going well! I'm bummed I won't be seeing you all till april. I expect heavy discounts when i do come out.
